Brussels Business City Guide: Brussels transport
The Brussels metro has three lines: yellow, orange and red. Single tickets cost €1.40, a pack of five €6.30. Due to street traffic, the metro is recommended over buses or trams. There are 50 bus/tram lines – detailed maps are available at www.stib.irisnet.be. There are quite a few train stations in the city: South, Central, North, Congress, Schuman, Schaerbeek, etc. Most trains to Brussels will stop at a few different stations. Be sure to find out which is closest to your hotel if arriving by train.
