Gothenburg Business City Guide: Gothenburg activities & culture
In summer, a boat trip through Gothenburg is a must, even if you can only spare an hour. Tour boats will take you through the city moat, canals and harbour. If time permits you to venture further afield, stunning Läckö Castle is straight out of a medieval Nordic fairytale.

For a city of Gothenburg’s modest proportions, its cultural offering is remarkably rich and diverse, with a number of superlative institutions. The Gothenburg Symphony was recently elevated to become Sweden’s national orchestra, Liseberg amusement park is the largest in Scandinavia and the shipshape opera house is a unique architectural landmark.
