Gothenburg
Business City Guide: Gothenburg shopping
The main shopping areas in Gothenburg are Avenyn, Fredsgatan, Arkaden, Citypassagen, Kungsgatan, Linnégatan and Nordstan. Arkaden is a small mall, but Nordstan is Scandinavia's largest shopping complex, with hundreds of shops and major department stores.
The area around Vallgatan, Larmgatan and Magasinsgatan continues its trend towards trendiness. If you have time to venture outside the city, the Freeport Designer Discount Outlet in Kungsbacka is a bargain hunter’s heaven. General shopping hours in Gothenburg are Mon–Fri 10am–6pm or 6.30pm, Sat 10am–2pm or 5pm and Sun noon–3pm.

A fashionable beauty parlour with a twist. Of course, hairdressers, make-up artists, masseurs and manicurists are on call for grooming emergencies, but there's also a fashion boutique, café and art gallery.
