Paris Business City Guide: Paris shopping
Paris is synonymous with fashion – and the top names are found along the Faubourg St-Honoré (1st) and Avenue Montaigne (8th). More down-to-earth prices can be found at the major department stores on Boulevard Haussmann (9th) and the charming boutiques of the Marais (4th) and St-Germain (6th).

Wine and champagne are vintage bargains. Try pairing them with cheese from the street markets in Rue Cler (7th) or Rue Montorgeuil (2nd). Gourmet food shops at Madeleine (8th) supply truffles, foie gras and all manner of epicurean delights. Shops are open from around 9am–6/7pm. Most are closed Sunday.
